Saturday 25th August we took a dive out to the East Rutts, which is best to dive on Slack. We were very lucky that slack fell at the perfect time, the sea had settled down and was calm, the sun came out and we had blue skies and light winds. Sea Temp around 16c on the bottom and 18c in the shallows. The vis was around 6-8m below 25m but between 15-25m there was a lot of grey particles in the water column but above 6m it was clear. The dive site is amazing – lots of gullies, and small reefs covered in all sorts of marine life and plenty of juvenile fish. We had a great dive. Thanks to Nautical Nick for Coxing.
